WEATHER

Last Thursday was a big day here in Utah - the stadium for our MLS team Real Salt Lake FINALLY opened. The stadium was absolutely beautiful and our new seats are awesome. As you can see, it was FREEZING, but we still enjoyed the festivities. Also, you can see, Jameson was a little overwhelmed by all of the excitement, and crashed out about 10 minutes into the game. Luckily we bundled him up really well (that's him under the blanket lying across our laps).A few days later, it was the final game of Jameson's soccer season. As you can see, the weather was still frigid, but Jameson was super bundled up again and played really well in his last game. He even got a trophy after the game (that is what he is holding in his hand). If you ask him what the trophy says, he will very enthusiastically tell you "Jameson WINS!!" The following morning, the cold weather peaked, and we woke up to a few inches of snow out on the deck. Jameson was super excited and the first thing he asked us was..."can we go skiing???" After explaing a few times that we need a lot more snow before we can ski, he agreed that a snowball fight would suffice.
Luckily, his snow pants from last year still fit, and his fireman rain boots work well for snow boots with warm socks under them. We had a great snowball fight and then came inside to snuggle and warm up.
