RANDOM FUN

I was downloading pictures from the camera and my phone onto the computer and realized that there were a lot of things I had taken pictures of that had not made their way onto here. So, here are a few random events from the past few weeks. Enjoy.

Jameson reading some new books at the library.

Jameson and Ari discovered a pile of ants on Grandma and Grandpa's driveway. Jameson kept saying "Hi Ants, Hi Ants." He got a little over-excited and fell over, smashing a few ants with his hands. He immediately stood up with a surprised look on his face, and said "Sorry Ants!!" We spent a very cold and rainy Memorial Day at the Turpin Family Cabin. Although it was wet, we still got to go on a few short hikes and Jameson found plenty of things to entertain himself with.

Amanda and I had plans to take the kids to the park, but once again, the weather didn't cooperate, so we ended up taking them to the fire station instead. Although Jameson was very excited to go, he got really nervous when we got there and spent the entire time crying and asking me to take him home (thus no pictures from the actual station). He was very excited, though, that they gave him a fireman's helmet, a pencil, a Fireman's badge and a Fire Dog pin.

Since the weather continues to be un-cooperative with outdoor play, I thought it would be fun to get Jameson some watercolors so that he could do some painting. He painted this picture for Mike and was very excited to give it to him when he got home from golfing.

Cute, I love the day (or days) in the life of a 2-year-old. :) I hope you don't mind, but I may steal that picture of the ants for our blog sometime. :)
