MORE NEW STUFF

Jameson has a been really growing up lately and has been doing a lot of new things, so here is a little update on him.
Our friends Scott and Cami gave us their kids' old basketball hoop, and Jameson has loved playing "bassetball" in the driveway. He is pretty good, and it has been fun to play with him. Jameson's new bed finally came in to the store, so last Saturday we went and picked it up and put it together. He was so excited to sleep in it. The first night he came into our room at 2 am, but since then, he has been sleeping in it all night, and hasn't fallen out yet (knock on wood). I'm not surprised, the bed is so super comfy, Mike and I both want to sleep to sleep in it.

Jameson also started preschool. He was so excited, he was running around the night before screaming "I'm going to preschool, I'm going to preschool!!!" at the top of his lungs. He did very well on his first day, and is VERY excited to go back again tomorrow.
PS. Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures. Our camera doesn't seem to be working very well. Looks like time for a new one.

NEW COUSIN

Jameson got a new cousin 2 weeks ago. I forgot to take pictures, but I got these from Mike's sister today, so I thought I would post them. SO CUTE!!! I love that Jameson gets to practice being around a little tiny one before ours comes.

MORE FAMILY PHOTOS

My Grandpa B turns 90 in October, but since we were all together (which rarely happens), we decided to surprise him with a birthday party in August. It was a great time and he was definitely surprised!! Here is Mike and J with Great-Grandpa B.My sister, Jen, and I with Grandpa.
Jameson with the other 3 "little" boys. They found this bug and watched it for a while. After a few minutes, one of them squashed it. They all roared with laughter and then sat around staring at it for a few more minutes. It was pretty funny.
The three boys again, getting ready to hit the pool.

My mom, me and my sister all took one afternoon and went to the Parade of Homes. We had a blast, saw some beautiful homes and some great conversation. Thanks to Mike and Nate for watching the kids so that we could have some quality time!!!

MY HOW THE TIME FLIES

The exhaustion and nausea of my first tri-mester are beginning to subside (yes for those of you who didn't know...we are having another baby - due Mar. 7, 2008), so I think I will be able to post a little bit more regularly again. Sorry for the delay, but all you mothers out there, I'm sure understand!
Grandpa T. decided one Sunday that Jameson needed to be included in his Sunday tradition of reading the funnies. Jameson loved them and laughed, even though I don't think he actually got the actual punchlines.
After grandpa read him the funnies, Jameson decided that grandma needed to be included in this fun new tradition, so he went over and read them to her. He actually did a pretty good job of reciting them exactly how he had heard them, it was hilarious.
Grandma A puts on a "cousins camp" every other year for all of her grandkids. Actually it is only supposed to be for those 5 and older, but because it is so hard to get everyone together anyway, it has turned into more of a family reunion. Jameson had a BLAST running around with his cousins, especially the other 2 boys that are close to his age. Here, he and W are enjoying watching the chipmunks run around up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Then Jameson pulled Grandpa A up on the same stump and I couldn't resist the cute picture. Later in the week, my sister and I and our kids took a fun little trip to Park City for some shopping, playing and lunch. My sister and I are very close, but she lives on the other side of the country, so we don't get to hang out much, and neither do our kids. The kids were so good, and I truly enjoyed watching Jameson playing with his cousins. What a cute bunch!!! To continue on the family theme, Mike's sister had her baby last week, so we were lucky enough to have Aunt Jen and Uncle "Monkey" Mike come and stay at our house for a few days. Jameson was so excited to see them (as were we), and had tons of fun playing with all the toys and candy they brought along with them. My camera battery was dying, so the picture is not the greatest, but I had to include the picture of Jameson with his mustache and his favorite Uncle Monkey!!
To add a little bit of stress and craziness to these 2 weeks, the guys building our deck (yes, they are STILL working on it, but that is a whole different post), put a hole in the sprinkler line. So, like a good father/husband, Mike took a little time out of his Saturday to try and fix it. 3 hours, 20 stiches and a visit to the emergency room later, the sprinklers were still not done. (I'll let you put that one together for yourself). So, Sunday, my dad was over, and he tried to help us finish the job. Another few hours later, we had patched 2 holes and found another leak, but we ran out of time and had to wait for another day to finish the saga. The following day, we realized one of the sprinkler heads in the front yard wad broken, so Mike headed back to Home Depot AGAIN. After a few more days and one more trip to Home Depot, the sprinklers appear to be working fine, Mike's wound is healing, and all is well (for the time being). Finally, Grandma T was so kind one Sunday to save the red tomatoes on her tomato plant for Jameson to pick. He was really excited and had lots of fun picking them. It was so cute, I had to take a video.
