Hot Dog Dance

This is for all of you who have children, and those of you who watch cartoons anyway. Jameson loves the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and especially likes dancing to the Hot Dog Dance at the end of every episode. He has even started singing his own renditions of it and dancing around the house to it. VERY CUTE!!!! I took a video of him doing this on my phone so that I could send it to Mike when he was in Chicago. This is my first time posting a video, and remember it was originally taken on a phone, so I'm not sure about the quality, but here goes.

Breakfast Date

Jameson and I have started a new tradition. When Mike is out of town for work, we try to go to one of our favorite breakfast places for a mother-son breakfast date one of the mornings. This morning we went to Carl's cafe and had their YUMMY french toast. Jameson ate a ton. He was really funny, he would put a bite in his mouth, and taste to see if it had enough syrup on it. If it wasn't quite "syrup-y" enough, he'd dip it back in for a little more and then eat it. It was quite funny to watch. I didn't get a pick of that, but here he is sitting so quitely and well-behaved in his little chair.

We were a little extra tired this morning because Jameson woke up in the middle of the night and kept saying his toe hurt. After about 2 hours, some motrin, some milk and lots of twirling mom's hair, he finally went to sleep at about 2 am. He slept in a little, but I couldn't. Here he is sacked out in my bed this morning.

OK, so Jen lit a fire under me, and Jameson is actually napping after daycare, so I have a few minutes to post. This is the beginning of this adventure, so bare with me on the flow...

We have had a hectic few months of Mike traveling, battling the flu, lots of snow as you can see, and Jameson starting daycare (the picture of him in our kitchen is on his "first day of daycare").
